UARK Cardinal Nights is made possible by a group of students who create, plan, and implement the program’s goals each year. Applications for the 2023-2024 Executive Team will open in November of 2022!

Cardinal Nights Executive Board Benefits:

Create events with performers, activities, and giveaways that appeal to you and your student body
Learn how to manage a budget, including opportunities to practice finding partnerships and sponsors
Work with dedicated Executive Boad, Professional Staff members, and a group of energetic volunteers
Attend National conferences, team building retreats, and coplete focused leadership training
Be a part of the New Student & Family Programs team for opportunities of growth, involvement, and impact

Asist an event

Working a Cardinal Nights Event is fun too! All you need to do is:

Step 1: Look up the event you would like to work.
Step 2: Let us know you want to volunteer.
Step 3: Receive your confirmation.
Step 4: Show up and have FUN!

Some of the volunteer roles include, but are not limited to: event set-up, working check-in tables, serving food to guests, passing out FREE T-SHIRTS (or other promotional giveaways), helping guests create awesome crafts, judging competitions, or working any number of theme-based special events and activities throughout the night.

Are you looking for additional ways to get involved with UARK Cardinal Nights? Do you want to gain experience developing and running large-scale campus programs? Are you looking for a great way to earn some fun community service hours? Then sign up today to join our Cardinal Core Crew! UARK Cardinal Nights (uarkCN) has developed this leadership opportunity to compliment our current staff structure. As a member of the Cardinal Core, you will have an influential position providing input to the Cardinal Nights staff about all aspects of our events. You will also assist the staff in preparation for, and execution, of uarkCN events during the spring semester. Additionally, members of the uarkCN Core will be able to serve as an intern in one of our areas: Marketing, Event Planning, Volunteer Management, and Program Operations. As an intern in one of these areas you will work closely with one of the members of the uarkCN staff, learn about their positions, and assist in execution of job functions. This is a one semester, unpaid internship that students may reapply for each semester.
